2) Hammer, chisel, wire stripping pliers, pointed nose pliers, tie tap, tap, casing, electric drill, electric hammer, drill bit, nail gun, etc.
3. Operating conditions
1) Various pipelines and boxes have been laid. The box closes smoothly.
2) The wires of the line have been threaded and insulation shake testing has been completed.
3) The interior decoration work such as wall plastering, painting, and wallpaper has been completed.
2、 Operation process
1. Process flow
Cleaning → Wiring → Installation
2. Cleaning
Gently remove any remaining ash blocks from the box with a chisel, and remove all other debris from the box. Then, use a damp cloth to wipe away the dust inside the box.
3. Wiring
1) General wiring regulations:
a. Switch wiring
The cutting positions of switches in the same place are consistent, and the operation is flexible, with reliable contact points.
The phase lines of electrical appliances and lighting fixtures should be controlled by switches.
Multiple switches are not allowed to be connected at the arch head. LC type crimping caps should be used to crimp the main head before branch connections are made.
b. When AC, DC, or sockets with different voltages are installed in the same place, there should be obvious differences, and their insertion should be matched with the socket and cannot be used interchangeably.
c. When multiple socket wires are connected in the socket box, arch connection is not allowed. LC type crimping caps should be used to crimp the main head before connecting the branch wires.
4. Preparation for installing switches and sockets
First, leave a repair length for the wire thrown out of the box, cut out the wire core, and be careful not to damage the wire core. Wind the wire clockwise around the corresponding terminal of the switch and socket, and then tighten the pressure head. If it is a single core wire, the wire core can also be directly inserted into the wiring hole, and then pressed tightly with a top wire. Be careful not to expose the wire core.
1) Installation of switches and sockets:
a. General installation regulations
Switch installation regulations: (a) The height of the pull switch from the ground is generally 2-3m, and from the door is 150-200mm; And the outlet of the stay wire should be downward. (b) The height of the lever switch from the ground is 1.4m and from the door is 150-200mm; The switch should not be placed behind a single door. (c) The panel of concealed switches should be upright, tight, and flush with the wall; (d) The switch position should correspond to the light position, and the switch direction in the same room should be consistent; (e) The height of switches installed in rows should be consistent, with a height difference of no more than 2mm, and the spacing between pull switches should generally be no less than 20mm; (f) Waterproof porcelain pull switches or protective boxes should be installed in dusty and humid areas and outdoors; (g) In flammable, explosive, and particularly humid places, switches should be explosion-proof, enclosed, or installed in other places for control; (h) It is strictly prohibited to install bedside switches in residential buildings; (i) Switches laid with open wires should be installed on a wooden platform not less than 15mm thick.
b. Regulations on socket installation: (a) Concealed and industrial sockets should not be less than 30cm from the ground; (b) Safe sockets should be used in children's activities. When using ordinary sockets, their installation height should not be less than 1.8m; (c) The height difference of sockets installed in the same room should not exceed 5mm; The height difference of sockets installed in rows should not exceed 2mm; (d) Concealed sockets should have a dedicated box, and the cover should be upright, tight, and flush with the wall; (e) Floor mounted sockets should have protective covers; (f) Sockets should not be installed in places that are particularly humid and contain flammable, explosive gases, and dust.
2) Installation of switches and sockets
a. Concealed switches and sockets:
According to the wiring requirements, connect the wires thrown out of the box to the panel of the switch or socket, push the switch or socket into the box (if the box is deeper than 2.5m, a sleeve box should be added), align the box eye, and fix it firmly with machine screws. When fixing, the panel should be upright and flush with the wall.
b. Surface mounted switches and sockets:
First, thread the wire thrown out of the box through the outlet hole of the plastic (wooden) platform, and then attach the plastic (wooden) platform tightly to the wall and fix it on the box or wooden brick with screws. If it is an open wiring, the hidden wire slot on the wooden platform should first face the direction of the wire to the right, and then fix it firmly with screws. After the plastic (wooden) platform is fixed, the phase wire, neutral wire, and protective ground wire that are thrown out should be threaded out of the wire holes of the switch and socket according to their respective positions, and the wires should be firmly pressed according to the wiring requirements. Then attach the switch or socket to the plastic (wooden) platform, align and fix it firmly with wooden screws* Then install the cover plates of the switches and sockets.
c. When installing switches and sockets in wooden structures, attention should be paid to fire prevention measures.
3、 Quality standards
1. Guarantee project
The protective grounding wire measures for socket connections and the position of the connecting wires between the phase and neutral wires must comply with the relevant provisions of the construction acceptance specifications.
The action of the leakage switch used in the socket should be sensitive and reliable.
Inspection method: Observation inspection and inspection of installation records.
2. Basic items:
1) The installation positions of switches and sockets are correct. The inside of the box is clean, free of debris, and the surface is clean and not deformed. The cover plate is tightly attached to the surface of the building.
2) The switch cuts off the phase line. The insulation of the wire entering the appliance is good and does not damage the wire core. The grounding wire of the socket is laid separately.
Inspection method: observation and power on inspection
3. Allowable deviation items
1) When the bottom plate of the open switch and socket is installed in parallel with the panel of the concealed switch and socket, the switch
2) The height difference of the socket is allowed to be 0.5mm.
3) The height difference in the same location is 5mm.
4) The vertical allowable deviation of the panel is 0.5mm.
Inspection method: suspension wire and ruler inspection.
4、 Finished product protection
1. When installing switches and sockets, do not damage the wall, and keep the wall clean.
2. After the installation of switches and sockets, it is not allowed to spray again to maintain the cleanliness of the panel.
3. Other types of work should not damage or distort switches and sockets during construction.
5、 Quality issues that should be noted
1. The panels of switches and sockets are uneven and have gaps between them and the surface of the building. The panels should be adjusted before tightening the fixing screws to make them tightly adhere to the surface of the building.
2. The switch has not disconnected the phase line, and the phase line, zero line, and ground wire of the socket are crimped in a disorderly manner, which should be corrected as required.
3. The sequence of multi light room switches and control lamps does not correspond. When wiring, carefully distinguish the wires of each lighting fixture, crimp them in sequence, and ensure that the switch direction is consistent.
4. The screws used to fix the panel are not uniform (there are flat and cross shaped screws). For aesthetics, uniform screws should be used.
5. If the installation height difference of switches and sockets in the same room exceeds the allowable deviation range, it should be corrected in a timely manner.
6. The protective opening of the iron pipe entering the box falls off or is missing. When installing switches and socket wiring, attention should be paid to wearing protective covers.
7. The switch and socket panels have been installed, but the box is too deep (greater than 2.5cm) and has not been treated with a sleeve. They should be replaced in a timely manner.
8. The arch head wiring inside the switch and plug box should be changed to chicken feet connecting to the main wire head, and then branch wires connecting to each switch or socket end. Alternatively, LC safety type crimping caps can be used to crimp the main head before branching for wire connection.

Knowledge of glass installation construction
