Informationization in the construction and decoration industry will be the future development direction
Author:
The construction decoration industry is one of the important components of the construction industry, and is listed as one of the three major components of the construction industry alongside the housing and civil engineering construction industry and the construction and installation industry. In recent years, with the rapid growth of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the real estate and construction industries in China have continued to grow, and the construction decoration industry has shown enormous development potential.
Benefiting from urbanization and promoting the rapid development of the building decoration industry
According to data from the China Building Decoration Association, the total output value of the national building decoration industry in 2016 was 3.73 trillion yuan, an increase of 340 billion yuan compared to 2015, with a growth rate of 9.7%. 3 percentage points higher than the macroeconomic growth rate, reflecting the foundational and advanced nature of the construction and decoration industry in the development of the national economy. It is expected that with the macroeconomic recovery in 2017, the total output value of the construction and decoration industry is expected to further increase to 4.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.46% compared to 2016.
Among them, the total output value of public building decoration projects completed in 2016 was 1.84 trillion yuan, an increase of 100 billion yuan or 5.7% compared to 2015. In recent years, due to the impact of anti-corruption and the slow increase in the completion speed of non residential housing, the growth rate of the total output value of public decoration has declined.
In terms of residential decoration, the total amount of completed projects for residential decoration in China in 2016 was 1.89 trillion yuan, an increase of 230 billion yuan or 13.86% compared to 2015. In residential decoration, the annual output value of refined decoration projects for finished houses reached 690 billion yuan, an increase of 50 billion yuan or 7.81% compared to 2015. With the increase in the number of existing housing, the increase in second-hand housing transactions, and the promotion of consumption upgrading, the growth rate of demand for secondary decoration is gradually entering a release period, and secondary decoration will gradually become an important part of housing consumption.
The development of the construction and decoration industry is closely related to the level of national economic development, and China's rapidly developing macro economy provides a solid foundation for the development of the construction industry. At the same time, the irreversible urbanization process has created sustained and huge market demand for China's construction and decoration industry, supporting its sustained and high-speed development.
In September 2016, the State Council issued the Plan for Promoting the Settlement of 100 million Non registered residence Population in Cities, proposing to accelerate the implementation of the urbanization rate of registered residence population, and achieve the settlement of 100 million non registered residence population in cities by 2020. At the same time, the urbanization rate of the national registered residence population has increased to 45%.
The population transfer in the process of urbanization will bring about a large demand for housing. Assuming that the per capita housing area is 30 square meters, the population transfer will bring about a housing demand of 3 billion square meters. In recent years, China's urbanization rate has increased by nearly 1.3 percentage points annually, with an annual increase of 18 million urban residents, directly driving the demand for the construction industry to over 700 million square meters. In addition, in addition to the incremental demand brought about by population transfer, the development of urban agglomerations, as the main driving force for future new urbanization in China, has a vast demand for supporting infrastructure and space such as living, transportation, and commerce, which will also bring huge vitality to the construction and decoration industry market.
China has begun to enter the internet society, and informatization is a fundamental and indispensable task for the transformation and upgrading of any industry. To this end, in May 2011, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development issued the "2011-2015 Outline for the Development of Building Industry Informatization", which included BIM as an important part of information standard construction, marking the beginning of China's BIM.
In June 2015, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Application of Building Information Models", clarifying the specific goals for promoting BIM; In August 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development issued the "2016-2020 Outline for the Informatization Development of the Construction Industry", which listed BIM as the top five key information technologies promoted in the construction industry during the 13th Five Year Plan period. A batch of demonstration and application projects were implemented; In December 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development issued the "Unified Standard for the Application of Building Information Models" (GB/T 51212-2016), which was implemented from July 1, 2017. Subsequently, various regions across the country have also issued corresponding guidance on BIM application.
With the increasing demand for visualization of design, cost, construction, maintenance and other processes and various types of information in the construction and decoration industry, BIM has become a symbol of the construction industry, and BIM has also become the direction of future transformation in China's construction and decoration industry.
